The Electric Mayhem

Time to take a trip into the mid 70's. Starting in November, Acme Archives started releasing these amazing Electric Mayhem concert posters by artist Michael De Pippo. They were limited edition of 250 each and signed . Being the huge Muppet and Electric Mayhem fan that I am, I had to own them all! They look incredible framed in the bedroom.

1966 exhibition at the Leo Castelli Gallery in NY

Silver helium filled mylar pillows floating freely 

 

They also inspired and were used as the background for RainForest by dancer and choreographer Merce Cunningham  in 1968

If anyone goes to the Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, they have a room to play with the clouds
