Vintage HE Luhrs Cat Musicians

These were made Beistle company (stamped HE Luhrs) in the early 1940's, and are some of my favorite Halloween pieces. It took me about two years to track down all 4 in decent quality and cost. They are about 18 inches tall and are a companion to a set of 8 much smaller cat musicians (pictures of them later).

Vintage Plastic Halloween Lamps

Halloween is my favorite holiday and I collect a lot of vintage Halloween decorations. Most of the stuff I own dates from the 20's through the 50's and I'm sure I'll be posting a lot of that stuff in the next few weeks. These lamps dating from 60's and 70's are some of my favorite pieces. Some are far more common then others and some are quite hard to come across and fetch high prices. Most were made by Empire Plastics who produced a lot of the mid century holiday blowmold lights. Others were made by General Foam, Bayshore, and Union Products. These are easy flea market finds and a great flashback to any childhood of the 60's, 70's, and 80's.
